Whereas Pentavision Entertainment got acquired by Neowiz before the development of S4 League. They only got handed to other departments after several acquisitions: Alaplaya (part of SAT1/ProSieben Games) got acquired by Aeria Games, which got acquired by gamigo. Publisher and developer were always the same companies. With the end of the contract all rights go back to Neowiz. After S4 League Korea closed in 2018, they updated their license contract with Aeria Games adding additional development rights (beside publishing the game) to create new content. Trademark and intellectual property of S4 League was always owned by Neowiz. I agree with the overall sentiment but there are too many things which got messed up, so I decided to get some facts straight:
